The poll on the upper-right side of this page is designed to help the 1979 Reunion Committee plan future reunions with a working knowledge of how our classmates feel about upcoming gatherings. If you are member of the class of '79, take a moment out to vote- and please vote only once. Thank-you. Please take a moment and send us your name (include married if applicable), address, phone and email address. Click on the "contact us" button to send all your information to Sue. Sue is the only one who has a master copy of the class of 1979 information. As the reunion gets closer, having a more complete list ahead of time will make things easier. Even if she has your address, please send an updated one so we are sure it is valid. |

Shortly after Bentley High School closed, several alumni events were planned, including an All Bentley reunion. Since the early 1990's, few alumni have organized events other than class reunions... until now. Friends of Dr Jerry Smith, Bentley Choir Director for twenty-six years, are in the early planning stages of one of the largest Bulldog gatherings in the last twenty years. "Doc" turns 75 in 2009 and the plan is to celebrate his birthday by inviting all of his Bentley Choirs to join his family and friends in this musical homecoming. The Livonia venue has not been determined but make plans to be a part of this "music in the round" during Thanksgiving Weekend in 2009. If you are one of his three-thousand former students then stay tuned for updates. If you would like to help- then click the Guestbook button on the toolbar- there you will find an entry by '82 grad Ron Moon- including his phone number. At this stage we need help locating fellow alumni from the classes of 1960 thru 1985. The committee will have a website address posted very soon. |
