Copper Creek, is a great nine hole gem of a course located on the North side of 12 Mile, between Halstead and Haggerty. This Farmington Hills course can now boast that one of the best upscale sports bars in the area, sits at the course entrance- Copper Creek Tavern. What makes this place even more special? Livonia Bentley 1977 grad, Dale Cassidy is the new owner of this sports bar. He will bring us some of our favorite bands- and make the place very inviting. |

When '79 classmate Sue (Johnson) Osinski set up our first class website: www.bentleyclassof1979.homestead.com - we were trying to create a social networking site similar to MySpace. We thought this on-line newsletter would allow us to share pictures, local gatherings and contact information. We also thought this might be a great way to get out some personal information. Joyful news like a classmate having a baby- (now it's more like the children of classmates having babies). Of course sad news- the the recent postings about Scott Smith and Mark Showerman would follow. The media we grew up with- was becoming extinct- and having a way to provide information about our childhood friends was becoming less likely. Setting up the site was our way of addressing this- but asking people from our generation to use it the way they would use 'MySpace' was not easy. First of all- none of us grew up using computers- and more importantly- Sue set up our '79 class website- more than two years BEFORE ''MySpace' was invented! Well- we've come a long way baby! Our age group is now considered the largest users of Facebook- and it turns out- we do like exchanging info with our old friends. The creator of our current site Greg Koorhan- and Sue- the site administrator- have spent their own time and money making sure this current site could be used by all Bentley classes. We will continue to post info and take Bentley Alumni pictures at any gathering we find- but don't forget about the networking aspects of this- your first networking site. We still offer it to you for free- and we don't try to access any of your personal information or sell you something you don't need. Just let us know- what we can do to help you stay connected. These are tough times here in Michigan- and we can really use all the networking help available. Thanks for your time.- oh and btw- we can no longer post info on the old homestead site- but there are some cool pictures and guestbook entries for anyone who wants to check 'em out. |

The green row of buttons just below our Bentley Bulldog- are designed to help you navigate this site. Many of you probably click on the 'Photo Gallery'- but few of you read or sign the 'Guestbook. Most of you who do visit the photo gallery- do not use the Search Gallery Box. The search gallery is designed to help you locate pictures of alumni quickly. Type in the name of a classmate- if their picture is in the photo gallery- it should pop up for you. Go ahead- explore...and as always- if you have trouble navigating thru this site- just contact us.....that's right- it's another one of those buttons on the Toolbar. |
