The Last Bulldog Pup......

The Combo Class Reunion- and the Concert Choir Celebration committees- first met in 2007. In the search for alumni- we made the observation: unlike other alumni events- we wouldn't hear about folks 'not attending' because of pregnancy. Bentley closed in 1985- and even though it was possible for female grads in the 80's to be going thru pregnancies- just not likely. In 2008- I informed the Choir Committee- that '81 grad Denise Kruger did not call me back right away because she was in labor the day I located her. We were happy- considering most folks we contacted about the big alumni weekend talked about their grand-children. This news from Denise made us feel a little younger.

Well- last month, fellow '79 grad- and one of my best friends- Sue Wonder gave birth to a healthy baby boy! Sue and her husband Jim are thrilled and both baby & mother are doing well. Last week- another Bentley Grad- said, 'Sue Wonder just had a baby at 49.....she really lived up to her name!'

Congats Sue- Hope to see you and the baby soon.
