Wow, how about this site to run across. Most won't remember me...wasn't Mr. social..but I remember the names here..some from Frost and a couple of names from Jackson elementary Smile .

Don't keep up with anyone. Ran into John King years ago at some event in a stadium. He remembered me. John K. you have a gift for people.

For anyone who cares to know...I live in Milwaukee, two geatest sons on the face of the planet, work in Computer administration for an investment firm. plain life but content. Also serious about my faith in JC.

everyone have a great life.

I'd like to make a request of my classmates: In these tough economic times, it helps to have all the networking connections available. This site is wonderful for class-specific events, and even some more general Bentley events (seems the two are merging anyhow). Facebook is fun for constant, personal updates. But LinkedIn is a really good business-oriented networking site that could help those (like myself) who are unemployed find the people who are actually hiring.

I hope I'm not overstepping any boundaries here. I, for one, am fairly desperate to find work, and need any advantages I can get. Find me on either site; I'm the John Haggard in Flat Rock, MI.

Thanks, Bulldogs!

Robert E. Evans passed away on November 23rd. 'Bobby', to those who knew him from Kennedy and Frost- died suddenly from heart failure at the age of 48. He is survived by his wife Ruth and children Robby and Amber. Also surviving are his parents- and a brother and sister. Peace Bobby.

Hey does anybody remember in 9th grade (1979) when Carla Hally wanted to play on the boys basketball team and Mr. Tanner put up a fuss because he said that girl could not play on a boys team, but she was so good that she made the team anyway?

One of the great Bentley families lost their youngest son this week. Mark Showerman passed away, he was 48. Mark was married with two children. His picture is on this website in the 2007 and 2008 folders. Click on the Photo Gallery and type his name in to the 'search box'.

Eric was in town on business a few weeks ago. Had dinner with him and drove him through the old neighborhoods. He's doing well. Lives in Denver and is a fund manager at Janus. Has 4 daughters - oldest plays basketball (surprise) at Weber State.

You didn't hear this from me but his e-mail is eric.thorderson@janus.com if anyone is interested.

To be exact, it looks like the stool just opposite and right of the front door of Bates Hamburgers. Can anyone ship me a burger?

For the nitpickers, the name of the soft serve ice cream establishment at 32624 5 Mile Rd in Livonia is actually:

Han D Dip Dairy Barn

Yup, photo #1 looks like the Handy Dip Barn to me.

It is strange how the ice cream places in Michigan are only open for half of the year. You don't see grocery stores removing ice cream from their freezers during the colder months, do you?

John King! Great to see you at the Spree. Scared the hell out of me with that bike! Matter a fact I saw you on your bike and it brought me back to my high school years when I would go up to the spree on my bike because it was sooo much easier to get around and go home on than driving a car. Try to find some others at the spree, but only saw Craig Pollard (who always comes up with me for the fire works) and Mark S. Looked for others, but was unsuccessful.

Maybe next year we can have a meeting spot on the big baseball diamond where I have been meeting old friends for years.

Anyways... it was great to see ya John. Keep up the good work with our class.
